Jessica Ennis in BA campaign - Low-cost car hire from CarJet
Could she do it?

In the latest campaign by British Airways to boost support for Team GB (have you already seen one of their planes taxi down your street?), they will be offering customers who buy one of their all inclusive Caribbean breaks - leaving after the end of the Olympic games in August - money back should heptathlete, Jessica Ennis win a medal. This follows on from their Don't fly, support Team GB campaign which frustrated tour operators looking to encourage holidaymakers abroad (you know, where there might actually be some sunshine).

Should Jessica Ennis win gold on 4 August, customers can expect £100 back and £75 for silver or £50 for bronze. Ennis is the second athlete to be highlighted in the campaign following a similar offer featuring gymnast, Louis Smith (this one has now ended) with flights to the USA. A third athlete who will feature in the campaign will be revealed in the next week…

I really liked their tongue in cheek 'don't fly' advert and I like this very much too!

To take part in the Jessica Ennis promotion, you'll need to book before 24 July. Package deals included in the offer include Cancun, Dominican Republic, Antigua, Grenada and St Lucia. You can find out more details on the British Airways website.
