easyJet at Luton Airport
A very early morning at London Luton Airport. easyJet is one of the main carriers flying from the airport alongside a group of mainly budget airlines including Ryanair, Wizz Air and Flybe.
Another London airport not actually in London, it's located nearly 60 kms north of London's city centre with easy access to the M1. It's also just 17 kms from the old Roman town of St Albans, which might make for a more peaceful base to a stay in the capital.
Luton Airport car hire

This way for the Onward Travel Centre
There are a range of car hire options from Luton Airport available. To find the on-site car hire desks, follow signs to the Onward Travel Centre… One rather like this!
At the Onward Travel Centre, you'll be able to buy tickets for a bus, coach or train (though the train option includes a short bus ride as there isn't a train station at the airport) as well as pick up your car hire keys!

For coffee and the day's paper
Coming from arrivals, you'll go past a Costa Coffee and WH Smith first.

Need your money changed?
You'll also find a currency exchange desk and Marks & Spencer up ahead (these will be on your right as you walk towards the Onward Travel Centre)
To get to the Onward Travel Centre, walk towards your left and you'll find all you need in transport onwards along that back wall.

Bus, coach, train or car hire?
The car hire desks are on the end on your right and include… Enterprise, Europcar, National and Alamo car hire (sharing the same desk), Hertz and Advantage (also sharing the same desk) and last but not least, Avis.

Luton Airport car hire
Once you've picked up your keys and sorted out the relevant paperwork, you'll find the exit of the airport on the opposite end of the Onward Travel Centre.

Which bay?
When you come out, you'll see this sign telling you which bay you need to go to for car hire, coach and bus stop. As car hires aren't parked in a car park right by the airport, there will be a courtesy shuttle bus to take you from the airport to the relevant car park. The bay you need for car hire is 1a and you just need to keep walking ahead (bearing left) and you'll see it shortly after walking the smoking area. Easy!
