Porto Airport car hire
Getting ahead of the queues!
No need to faff around looking for them, as soon as you enter the Arrivals Hall (you’ll be faced with friends, family and drivers waiting behind a low barrier as soon as you do) from Baggage Reclaim, walk towards your right.
Arrivals Hall - Relay
Go past the pharmacy and Relay shop and you’ll spot the car hire desks towards your left, against the wall with the exits to the airport.

You’ll find the following car hire desks within the airport in the Arrivals Hall:
Avis and Hertz
First up, you'll notice big name players - Avis and Hertz
Budget and Guerin
Next up, Budget car hire and Portuguese company, Guerin car hire.
Europcar and AutoJardim
Housed a few steps more to the left of the above car hire companies is another big player - Europcar. There are a couple of unfilled desks next to Europcar before you get to Auto Jardim - like Guerin above, they're also a Portuguese brand.
Buondi Caffe
If there is a line or you’re hungry or thirsty, there’s a Buondi Caffe opposite the car hire desks. They serve a range of sandwiches, pastries as well as hot and cold refreshments. You can see what else there is in the Arrivals Hall in our guide to arriving into Porto Airport.
Where's your car?
None of the car hire companies - even those operating a desk within the airport have their car hires in the airport car parks. But they all have airport shuttles to take you to them - just a couple of minutes drive away. You could even walk if you wanted to but why do that when someone'll drive you there?!

Exit the doors behind the car hire desks and you’ll find the stop for the car hire shuttle buses.
At this stop (remember it's directly outside the exit doors behind the car hire desks), you'll find the shuttle buses for Hertz, Avis, Europcar, Budget, Auto Jardim and Guerin.

Goldcar opened up an office to serve Porto Airport earlier this year in February. Their office and car park are also just a short drive away. You should find a Goldcar employee in the Arrivals Hall waiting for you to take your directly to the shuttle bus. But you can also find it yourself - just outside the airport.

The Goldcar courtesy shuttle stops across the road from the airport (you can see Goldcar's yellow bus in this photo in the left-hand side). The stop is in the middle of the road outside the Arrivals Hall - basically to the left of the on-site car hire shuttle stop which, in this picture is further along the road to the right of the picture.

The Goldcar shuttle leaves for its office and car park on Avenida Francisco Sa carneiro about 5 minutes drive from Porto Airport.
