Taxiing down Westminster Bridge
Targetting folk living in the UK (presumably, they're showing a similar ad outside of the UK telling people to come over and support their country too!), British Airways have unveiled their new advertising campaign as one of the sponsors for London 2012.
The advert shows a British Airways plane taxiing down the streets of London against the backdrop of The Clash's London Calling. You can also find a link to it online where you can type in your post code and see the plane taxi down your street…
I quite like it - go on, give it a go (UK post codes and addresses only!): Get BA to taxi down your street. Alternatively, see the full advert minus your street on youtube.
Waiting behind the milktruck
Meant as a tongue-in-cheek way to show they're fully behind Team GB (as well as showing off their credentials as Olympics sponsors), they do assure customers who do choose to fly elsewhere that they'll still be receiving a warm welcome on board. Outside of sports, there's plenty to keep people entertained in the UK… like a Stonehenge bouncy castle for instance! See more in it's Sacrilege and it's bouncy.
Retro posters from British Airways
We found some fabulous old posters recently from BA and we thought you might like them too so here are a few…
More to see...
Even if you're not a sports fan!
You can see their full poster gallery on their website. (BOAC by the way is a former incarnation of British Airways...)
