Planned strike at Aer Lingus 01 November 2012 By Luna Dizon Strike action by around 2,500 Aer Lingus staff has been announced following a breakdown of talks between unions, the Dublin Airport Authority and the airline. The row follows failure to reach a resolution over a €700m shortfall in the pensions scheme. The planned strike will see work stoppage for two hours between 10am and midday on 19 November.
