From tomorrow, 11 July, customers will be able to buy tickets from cities including London, Dublin and Venice to Maastricht for travel from December 2012 taking Ryanair's total number of routes from the airport to 14.
Maastricht will be the budget airline's 51st base and in a cheeky swipe at Dutch national airline, KLM, Ryanair's Michael Cawley said "Dutch consumers/visitors can now beat the recession and escape KLM's high fares and fuel surcharging."
It's great news for the tourism industry in and around Maastricht as well as for locals wanting cheap getaways themselves.
