Whilst living in Canada, I was introduced to an alternative bloody mary and despite (in my opinion at least) spice in Canada not being so easy to find, this Canadian version has a better kick. It was a surprise though when I found out what it was! Available throughout the country but really incredibly difficult to find outside, it's definitely worth trying if you go!
