Best Car Hire Operator (Again!)

On Sunday 28th October 2007, CarJet were announced as winner of the BEST CAR HIRE category at the annual Guardian/Observer Travel Awards for second year in a row.

These prestigious awards are hosted in a different location worldwide. The winners are selected entirely on the basis of readers feedback. This years event was hosted in the beautiful city of Seville in Spain.

Attending to collect the prize for CarJet was Paloma Santamaria, our company's Commercial Director and partner in the business since it's creation in 1998.

".. We are very pleased to be here, up on the podium again" said Paloma, "..This award really belongs to all our hardworking staff that are there manning the telephones and support functions behind the scenes at CarJet. Of course our technology and websites are important, but what makes us so different from our competitors is our determination to provide the same good service.. if you have a problem or you need to cancel. We're not just here for the short-term."

It's a standing joke in our industry that 'there are no worse travellers than travel industry professionals', so the logistics were truly impressive. Well done!
