The minimum age is 21 years old for most of the car hire companies. You can find information about the age requirements and any possible young driver fees in the terms and conditions of each offer and also on your rental voucher.
The main driver needs these four documents to be able to collect the car (all must be original documents and in the drivers' name): a credit card with embossed numbers and sufficient credit to cover the deposit amount and any extras, passport or ID card, full driving license and the rental voucher.
Details of any additional drivers must be provided at the local office when you pick up your hire car.
We are never able to confirm the make, model or colour of the car you will receive. Your booking isn’t associated with a specific vehicle (make or model, colour, equipment etc) but is for a group of vehicles with similar characteristics. In the event that the requested group is not available you will be given a vehicle from a higher group at no extra cost.
If you don’t want to have to leave a deposit for the excess when you collect the car you can choose an offer with zero excess.
You will find all the fuel policy information in Hawaii in the terms and conditions of each offer and in your voucher. With the full/full option you will collect the car with a full tank and you will have to return it full. Therefore, you will only pay for the fuel you use.
You will be able to extend your booking as long as the company permits extensions and provided that the car is available for the extra days. Please note that you will need to go to the local office to sign the contract extension. Failure to do so can invalidate the insurance and result in a penalty charge for not extending the contract on time.
