We are never able to confirm the make, model or colour of the car you will receive. Your booking isn’t associated with a specific vehicle (make or model, colour, equipment etc) but is for a group of vehicles with similar characteristics. In the event that the requested group is not available you will be given a vehicle from a higher group at no extra cost.

Yes. For most offers on our website you will be required to leave a security deposit when you collect the car. The deposit amount will be temporarily blocked on / taken from the main driver’s credit card and held for the duration of the rental. As long as you bring the car back undamaged at the end of the rental, the money will be unblocked / returned.

Yes. With most companies there is an additional charge to pay for adding an extra driver. You can find information about any possible additional driver fees in the terms and conditions of each offer and also on your rental voucher.

Each car hire company has its own age requirements, but most will rent to people aged between 21 and 69, although it can vary depending on the rental company. If you're under 26, you are likely to have to pay a young driver fee.

If you want to return the vehicle to a different office than the one it was collected from you need to choose the ‘one way’ option when making your booking. To do this you need to unclick the ‘Return the car to the same location’ box and select where you’d like to return the car. Our search engine will automatically inform you if the route you have chosen is possible. The hire company normally charges a ‘one-way’ fee for returning the car to a different office. If this is the case, it is explained in the conditions before booking and again on the rental voucher.

You will be able to extend your booking as long as the hire company permits extensions and provided that the car is available for the extra days. Please note that you will need to go to the local office to sign the contract extension. Failure to do so can invalidate the insurance and result in a penalty charge for not extending the contract on time.
